Over a Decade of Humanitarian Action & Enduring Impact
Our Humanitarian Journey & Impact
Established in 2012 in response to the humanitarian crisis in Syria, Orient for Human Relief & Development (OHRD) launched its field operations across northern Syria and southern Türkiye with an unwavering commitment to human dignity, essential care, and community resilience.
Over more than a decade (2012–2022), OHRD operated as a comprehensive multi-sectoral organization across six core areas: healthcare delivery, education and skills development, humanitarian relief, vocational empowerment, human rights documentation, and cross-border assistance — building enduring impact through principled field action and trusted international partnerships.
